Specimen of double-generation Calcite on matrix from the Xia Yang mine in China. We can see the crystallization steps easily on this piece. The first generation is formed by flat-ended hexagonal crystals of brown calcite, then the second generation of colorless calcite also completed. The crystals are a good size for origin.
