Impressive specimen of Calcite double generation on matrix from the Xia Yang mine in China. We can see the crystallization steps easily on this piece. The first generation is made of hexagonal crystals with a flat finish of brown Calcite, then the second generation of colorless Calcite is also completed. Very nice quality, rare specimen.
