The Calcite of this quarry form narrow and spray crystals on basaltic matrix which offers a superb color contrast. This piece is a fine example of this material with a large cover of clear, translucent crystals rich in orange color. It is very difficult to find parts without damage because the cavities where these Calcite are found are small and narrow. This specimen is perfect and has a really intense color.
