New discovery 2023 in Mali for this large specimen composed mainly of Garnet variety Melanite, titaniferous variety of Andradite, black and opaque, associated with well formed Epidote crystals, as well as lighter green Titanite crystals scattered over the entire piece. A floating piece, the large Melanite crystals are the basis. On the front the Melanite is with rather defined faces, on the back we see a multitude of small Melanite on the main crystals that give shine to the piece. This is the only specimen we were able to find in this new discovery in Mali.
