We are Cédric and Mathilde, founders of SZ-Minéraux, a company born from our shared passion for the wonders of the Earth. From a very young age, I, Cédric, was fascinated by fossils and minerals, spending hours exploring fields in search of hidden treasures. My studies in mechanical engineering and geosciences led me to create SZ-Minéraux, specializing in collectible minerals and custom-made pedestals. However, in January 2024, we chose to focus exclusively on mineral sales in order to better meet our customers’ expectations.

Mathilde joined me in this adventure after a career in banking. Since 2020, she has been working full-time in our company, managing trade shows, online sales, and stand design, bringing her expertise and passion for craftsmanship.

The birth of our son Trystan marked a turning point, further strengthening our dedication to mineralogy. We have worked together since 2008, have been selling minerals since 2009, and became an SARL in 2016, allowing us to develop custom bases without glue or adhesives.

Since 2022, we have had the honor of organizing the International Mineral Expo Paris, a must-attend event for enthusiasts of minerals, fossils, jewelry, and gemstones. Held annually on the first weekend of December at Espace Charenton, the event has become a key meeting point for collectors.

Since 2026, we have further developed Mineral Expo Paris by creating a second annual edition in April: the Spring Edition of Mineral Expo Paris. Two opportunities each year to meet and marvel at stones in all their forms.

And since 2025, we have created a new show in Montbéliard featuring minerals, fossils, gemstones, jewelry, and meteorites. It will be held for the first time on September 27 and 28 at the Axone de Montbéliard.

In January 2024, we decided to dedicate ourselves entirely to mineral sales and the organization of these exceptional events. This strategic choice reflects our commitment to offering the finest specimens and creating unforgettable annual shows. Our passion and dedication drive us to excel in both fields.
