What a purity and intensity of blue for this superbly crystallized and well-preserved halite from the Amelie mine, one of the former potash mines in Alsace. The colour is typical of the locality, however this specimen is really well preserved and crystallized. It should be remembered that halite, gemstone salts, are fragile and fear moisture.
