Impressive double generation calcite on matrix from the Xia Yang mine in China. We can see the crystallization steps easily on this part. The first generation consists of flat-ended hexagonal crystals of brown Calcite, followed by the second generation of colorless Calcite. The crystals are of good size for provenance.
